One of the most important part of any type of research project is to actually talk to real people about what your'e researching, in order to get some real opinions on your subject. The same went for this project. I asked a group of people 4 questions, and have compiled the answers below. The questions were: Do you think the new James Bond films are better than the old ones?
What is your favorite James Bond movie?
Who is your favorite Bond actor?
What impact do you think Bond movies have had on the world?
The answers to these questions varied. Most people said that the old movies were better, but the new ones special effects made up for the deficit. It also seemed that the main favorite Bond films were From Russia With Love and Casino Royale. To go along with this, the two favorited Bond actors were Sean Connery and Daniel Craig. Along with these easy to answer questions, I asked one that would make people think. What impact do you think Bond movies have had on the world? Strangely enough, people are more likeminded on this topic. Everyone I interviewed agreed that the James Bond films were the first new-age spy films, that they paved the road for the future of espionage, in a way. This sort of universal acknowledgment is part of how a person can recognize a truly fantastic piece of art.
